The inaugural batch of students, for the academic year 2021 was welcomed by the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Sciences, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. The welcome ceremony was held on 10^th March 2022 at the prof Sarath Edirisinghe auditorium under the prevailing Covid-19 guidelines. New students and their parents were addressed by Prof. Sanjeewanie Ginigaddara, Vice-Chancellor, the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, and Prof. Kosala Weerakoon, acting dean, Faculty of Medicine and Allied Sciences, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka.
